In front of its members and partners gathered on Cezeaux University Campus, Céréales Vallée presented its ambitions for the 3rd phase of french competiutiveness clusters (2013-2015) and pointed out its implication in dynamic of french stimulus initiative.

A four Céréales Vallée members delagation met the members of the clusters Wagralim (Namur) and Food Valley (Wageningen) on the topics Cereals, Health and Nutrition, from the 11th to the 14th of october 2011.

The Céréales Vallée members thus could meet 7 partners of the cluster Wagralim. It was also the occasion to take part in the Food Expo show organized by Food Valley in Wageningen which gathered nearly 550 European participants from agroalimentary sector.
This mission was organized with the participation of Europe Entreprise Network Auvergne.

Céréales Vallée through France Green Plastics organizes a technological partnerships mission in Japan from November 28th to December 2nd, 2011 on bioploymers.
 

This mission aims at reinforcing the co-operation and the partnership with the Japanese ecosystems which work on the biopolymères, in particular in the car and packing sectors. The representatives of the French delegation, mainly SME, represent the whole chain of value: from raw materials production to biobased plastics use.

Cereales Vallée and 4 others french competitivness clusters, which have created the Plant Inter Cluster, received in Paris on the 24th and 25th of may 27 european clusters from the vegetal sector.

Céréales Vallée: answers to the food and environmental challenges of our society

At the time of the breakfast organized for 2 projects closure, CEREMAT (Cereals for properties-controlled biomaterials ) and BleNNat (Wheat Nutrition & Natural solutions) launched in 2007, Céréales Valley recalled its coordinator role in strategic collaboratives projects.

Céréales Vallée joined 4 vegetal competitiveness clusters to create the Plant InterCluster (PIC) consortium et gather forces toward international projects.

Céréales Vallée, PEIFL, Qualiméditerranée, Qualitropic et Vegepolys gather their forces to represent french vegetal strength towards international.

The first actions of the Plant InterCluster are:
• The realization of a plant clusters cartography worldwild,
• The organization of a first international meeting of the “PIC”, next May 25th and 26th in Paris,
• A project of common mission on the zone Chile-Brazil

At the time of its General Assembly, on February 28th, 2011 in the Agriculture Chamber of the Puy-de-dôme, Céréales Vallée gathered 80 people and pointed out its implication in the dynamics of the French government investment plan for projects with a future (PIA).

Céréales Vallée pointed out its implication in the dynamics of the French government investment plan for projects with a future (PIA) in the presence of its members, representatives of the territorial collectivities partners of the cluster, Florent Massou and Jean-Christophe Dantonel, representatives of the National Agency for Investment and Patrick Stefanini, Regional prefect.
Among the 5 projects adopted at the conclusion of the call for Biotechnologies and Bioressources projects of PIA, 2 were accredited by Céréales Vallée: Breedwheat for wheat and Amaizing for corn. Céréales Vallée is placed thus at the top of the competitiveness clusters devoted to the challenges in agriculture.

Céréales Vallée brings its field crop orientation and Végépolys widens the reflection thanks to its action on the sectors seeds, horticultural, wine and other specialized cultures. This alliance will make it possible to pool the efforts of the two clusters and will reinforce the impact of their actions for emergence of new innovating collaboratifs projects.

Céréales Vallée presents the new FUI project NutriPan to the press and to the financing partners. Céréales Vallée NUTRIPAN project aims to optimize nutritional qualities of the bread thanks to a comprehensive approach of the manufactoring process chain.

Céréales Vallée, IAR and Plastipolis brought together within France Green Plastics (FGP)

At the time of the french Agriculture show, the Cereales Vallee, Industries & Agro-Resources and Plastipolis competitiveness clusters signed a partnership convention to create France Green Plastics, “Agromaterial Cluster for Plasturgie”, initiate at the end of October 2009. The purpose of FGP is the development and the industrialization of new materials resulting from plant resources for the plasturgie.
